Hi, retyping this because the blog software totally erased my comment when it didn’t like my previous non-email address. Winpdb looks very nice and someone on comp.lang.python pointed me to it. i never would have looked at it otherwise, since I’m a linux user and winpdb sounds windows-specific. Maybe you could consider changing the name? Also it’s great that winpdb is gplv3 (maybe I can contribute some patches) but why is the documentation restricted? Finally it would be great if there were a gud interface so it could run under gud in emacs, instead of needing a special client gui or curses interface. Regards –Paul
Winpdb is a platform independent GPL Python debugger with support for multiple threads, namespace modification, embedded debugging, encrypted communication and is up to 20 times faster than pdb.
Congratulations Nir,
I will integrate it now in the subversion of SPE!
