Winpdb 1.4.4 Tychod is available for download at http://winpdb.org/download. The new version fixes a major regression to exception analysis.
couple of suggestions for usability improvements. increase the number of things get can be driven by keystroke. The whole attaching to promote program UI is pretty good but, if I could do it all by keystroke, I could automate it for speech recognition, which would save me a bunch of hand problems. Bookmarks for remotely debugged systems. I almost never run code on the machine I use as a user interface. Yup, Emacs plus tramp is my editing environment. winpdb remote is my debugging tool. Haven’t found a better combination although I wouldn’t mind finding a somewhat better editor for organizing my program space.
